Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, including but not limited to name, contact information, identification data, online identifiers, and financial or transactional information.

F) The legal basis for the processing of the aforementioned data to ensure proper website operation are our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1) lit. f) GDPR. We draw your attention to the fact that internet-based data transmission (for example, when communicating by email) may have security gaps, and complete protection against access by third parties is therefore not possible.
V. User Onboarding
A) In order to use certain functionalities of our services, users must register and create an account. The contractual relationship concluded with the user is governed by our separate Terms and Conditions, to which we refer during onboarding. For the onboarding process, we collect and process personal data that is necessary to set up and manage the user account and to provide the contractually agreed services.
B) When onboarding, users provide the following information (jointly “Customer Data”):

Digital Asset/Crypto Wallet address (where applicable for our services)
C) Processing of customer data is necessary for the performance of the contractual relationship with the user and for legitimate business purposes, including fraud prevention, security and regulatory compliance.
D) Customer data is generally stored until the respective investor closes its account or otherwise unregisters for the use of the service, unless statutory retention obligations apply, or the customer data is necessary for other purposes described herein.
VI. Identity Verification (KYC)
A) To access certain regulated or higher-risk functionalities (such as purchasing or subscribing to specific financial products), users may be required to verify their identities. In this regard, we receive certain information from Know Your Customer service provider(s) (“KYC-Provider”) with whom we cooperate and which the respective user chooses for identity verification.
B) Such processing is necessary to comply with applicable anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing, sanctions and fraud prevention obligations and for risk management purposes.
C) Information obtained through KYC processes may be retained for the period required under applicable financial crime and record-keeping laws.
D) Full name, date and place of birth, nationality, address, ZIP-Code, City and country of residence, type of ID document (e.g. identity card, passport), ID-document number, issuing authority, country and date of issuance, expiry date, signature, copies of front and back of ID document.
VII. Contact Option
A) If you contact us via email or contact form, the information you provide will be processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry and any follow-up communication.
B) Processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and managing communications, or where applicable, for the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures.
VIII. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties in General
A) We may share personal data with external service providers acting as our processors. These processors may only use the data for the purposes specified by us and are contractually obliged to handle your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the applicable data protection law.
